You can really get a work out going to Whole Foods and getting a pound.  That's the best place to find them here in the Crescent City.  They're even picked.  Or as the late, great Mae West put it, "Beulah, peel me a grape."

Hey, I have a friend up heah in Maine that grows shittake muchrooms as a side business. Last year he grossed $32,000!!! His profit for one year was $26,000!!! That's pretty good money to us ol' Mainers!It can be done for  pretty cheap money. He has 6 or 8 logs that about 20 feet long and he splits them down the middle, drills all the wholes and puts some spores (which he saved from the year before) in each of the wholes and that's about it. Keeping the them properly etc. adds up but as I said he makes a fortune. Days he's a chef and pulls in another 25 grand a year!! Oh and of course he deducts all he can and ALWAYS makes sure to pay the tax man!!I  mean if  the brotherhood got together we could make millions, feed the world end wars etc.!!!
