I use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I actually buy the CVS brand which I think is actually the same product packaged differently. Great stuff!

Yes any kind of scrub will work bro.  Just do not do the sun burn removal method.  I will personally come down there and kick your ass myself if I hear of you doing that again LOL

Don't exfoliate the skin as it will irritate you. Moisturize the damaged skin as often as possible and let it naturally regenerate and NEVER EVER go unprotected!!

While on the subject,, Mike and other east coasters,, WHEN should I start with the sun screen? I haven't seen any signs of too much sun,,, yet.

you should use sunscreen anytime you are outside with any sun all thru out the year

Man...I just made this same mistake.  Didn't think anything about protection, just went out to the state park and cooked out and cooked my head!  No Bien!

Here's the easy way to assure the situation is covered.  Get yourself a good moisturiser with at least an SPF of 15.  Use it every day and you're good for indoors or outdoors.  If you plan to be out in the sun several hours (especially in the summer months) kick it up to SPF30.
