Two things.  First, Timm I asked what it looks like when you put it on your head because they are not all the same.  For example gillette series shave gel appears like what that guy puts on in the video I provided.  Bald guyz shave gel for example appears very thin on your head.   That makes a difference for me when I go to shave against the grain.  I have found that it is a lot easier to shave against the grain if there is something like that video.

Second, for those saying it's too expensive.  Well, maybe it's too expensive because nobody is trying it.  If many of us try it and like it then with the excess demand for the product it might create some encourgement on the firm's part to lower price to keep customers happy.   Also, if in tough economic times we don't buy things then we are eliminating jobs.  If you are working in sales don't you wish more people would buy the stuff so that you can keep your job?  Well, there is other people too whose jobs depend on our purchases.  So, let's stimulate the economy!!!

So Tyler what does this thing look like when you put it on?  Is it like what this guy has in the video or is it like bald guyz shave gel? I hope you understand what I'm saying.  If not let me know and I will ask again (english is my 3rd language so pardon my language if I don't put proper words together)
here's the video:

It's thick coming out of the tube, but once applied it is very little foaming, much like HeadSlick and a bit more than Bald Guyz.  It's no where near as thick as the cream in that video.  Therefore it lends itself to seeing your head better when you shave.

oh ok Tyler.   That's not good news lol but thanks anyway.  I was hoping for something as thick as the one in the video with the ability to reduce cuts and irritation.   Gillette series shave gel has not been able to do that for me even though it's thick.

Don't let the thickness fool you!  It provides more protection than any other cream I've tried because it contains tea tree oil.  If protection is what you are looking for and still want a cream, then this is your product.  Otherwise you should use a shaving oil.

What I am looking for is a cream with protection.  You see I love the Bald Guyz shave gel for shaving with the grain, but from what I have observed the way my scalp was created requires that I use a "cream" when I go against the grain.  I did that today.  I shaved with bald guyz shave gel with the grain, and then I applied Gillette series shave cream against the grain and it worked well.    BUT I don't trust gillette one too much from past experience.
I like how you keep emphasizing "protection".  I have been looking for that word for some time.  So, I will order from citizen smooth tomorrow.  Thanks.  O0

If it's protection you're looking for, then Citizen Smooth will be a good choice.

I tried the citizen smooth today. I'll be putting up an official review soon. This cream does not lather well. I tried lathering it with a brush and no matter how much I tried, I didn't get much of anything. However, I never really understood what 'shave protection' was until I used the citizen smooth for the frist time today. It was definatly one of the smoothest, least irritating shaves I've ever had! I'm going to experiment with the cream a little more tommorow.

Got my sample in the mail today.  Gonna shave with it tonight and will post comments.  I started off using Gillete gel.  Lately, I've been using HeadSlick.  I'm interested to see how the Citizen Smooth stacks up.
