7 or 8 minutes, all against the grain, at the sink. But I can't shave my neck against the grain without breaking out. I have fine, blond hair and very little on top, not that dark steel wool some of you guys have to deal with. This is a great nerdy topic for perfect square day! (3*3=09)
Ghost, one thing you could do to possibly cut down on time is shave in the shower. But get your head wet right when you get in and shave it after about 5-10 minutes of being in there. You're hair will be softer and it might speed it up abit. (I've learned this from women who've told me that they shave their legs after being in the shower awhile). Never rush though, I've learned that the hard way. It could be that you just have thicker hair to deal with. I don't time it bit I think it takes me alittle under 10 minutes, depending on how thorough I want to be.

It only takes me 5 -10 minutes at the sink.
