Keeping it on!

(1/6) > >>

Tom McGarry.:
Hey my peeps;
                       I live in the north country and as a result it gets very cold in the winter. I love shaveing my head, but  in the winter with a freshly scalped dome, my hat keeps slideing off of my head. So sometimes I like the stuble after the first day of growth, it acts like velcro to help keep my touque firmly in place. But I like being smooth.
Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone have any tips for "Keeping it on" while being smooth?

I know exactly what you mean. I work outside a lot and even though I live in Texas, there are still days when I freeze my ass off! I have one beanie that is really tight on my head and it does a pretty good job of staying on, but the one that I really like slides off all the time. I hate having stubble, but that is the best way to keep the beanie on. I have yet to find a better method of keeping it on. If you find one before I do, let me know!

When you shave, leave a thin strip of stubble around your head, then your hat will stay on. :*))  Seriously, I have the same problem.  If its really cold, or I'm going to be out a while, a full ski mask works great and won't slide off.  Other than a different style of hat, I don't have any other solutions.
