It grows so quick
« on: December 23, 2008, 04:10:28 PM »
Recently started buzzing my hair, going down shorter each time to get myself and others prepared for my eventual sly. Its amazxing how quick it grows back, I gave myself a 2 last week and now I have just had to do it again, anyone find this?

That kind of thing happens with hair. It's probably only surprising due to the fact that while it's longer, you don't really think about or you just don't realize it.

How far are you from completing the trek to slydom?
I read the news today, oh boy. 4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire. Vandalism much?

Have now gone from long hair to grade4, then 3 and now 2 in the matter of weeks, Best thing I ever did. It looks so much better. I reckon I probably gonna skip 1 and use clippers minus the bar and see how that looks.

That's what I do most of the time. I like the stubble look and since shaving, I don't give a rats a$$ about my hairline. I do shave it from time to time but the no guard clipping is just as pleasurable for me as shaving it down.

I do the no guard every other day or so. At least 3 times a week. Oh man, love it. I love the whole routine.

I use the trimmer on the back of my electric razor. I've cut myself with shears without a guard. This trimmer can be pushed into my head with some decent pressure and has never cut me. If I had to guess, I'd say it grows back to #1 length in 4 days.

Tomorow I will be buzzing my hair of without the guard. I will then decide if I want to take the rest off with a razor and shaving cream. I am really excited to shave my head for the third time, but am a little nervous.

Done the deed?

When you buzz without a guard it is only a small step to shave it wet. do it!  you wont regret it. is is a bit scary in the beginning but worth it.

I would have to agree, it your going without a guard take it down to skin.  Thats  how I did it.  I went #2, figured shorter??? went #1 then to no guard, said there isn't really much there took the razor and the rest is history!

UKNewbie and FoodFor4 --  just do it.  if you shave every few days its a lot less trouble than the daily buzzing needed to keep it really tight.  You both are going so short now that if you shave on a friday, and don't like it; it'll be grown back to what you now have by Monday

Yeah, I have to admit that it's a pain sometimes how fast it grows!!  I can shave in the morning and by 6 or 7 its feeling like I want to shave it again!! But at this point I really enjoy the shaving so I'm glad to shave it no matter when it is!!
It's all about attitude!
