How do I insert a picture in a post???
Timmay:
most of the time you would insert it by using your finger and shoving it way up in there
GaryT:
Timm, Timm,Timm, will you ever grow up???? !p
waine:
I want to post some pics but I do not know how. This thread was not helpful. I do not want to go through the whole Photobucket thing. Why can't it just be as easy as a typical blog site? Click insert pic, browse and load... 123, easy?
Any pointers please.
Sir Harry:
Waine....There may be other ways, but this is what I do...
1. Download the pictures from my digital camera to my PC
2. Most computers will save pictures in a folder labeled "pictures"
3. When adding pictures to a post, click "Additional Options" below the Message Screen
4. Hit the "Browse" button next to the "Attach Box"
5. Your picture folder may open up and click on the picture you want to add to your post. I think you can attach a maximum of four pictures per post as far as I know.
6. Click Post as you normally would when posting a response/new thread.
**NOTE** Before doing steps four and five, you may need to reduce the size/resolution before attaching photos. Many times my post with attachments was rejected because the pictures' resolution was too large. You may need to download an app like Irfanview (what I use) and use that to reduce your pictures to a smaller resolution (i.e. 640X480).
Hope this helps, if you have any questions or need help, feel free to PM me. Good Luck!

I use imageshack.us but imgur.com will do the trick too. all you do is browse for the photo on your desktop then click the upload button. then just choose the messageboard/forum option. You don't need an account or anything to use these sites. Although until reading this post, I didn't know that this site had the same kind of system, but I will probably keep doing it my way because it does it all for you, no need to guess what resolution you need for which application
