[Anyway,  I did see a cousin today for the first time in about 15 years.  She asked "Where is your hair".  I replied "In the sink".

Someone asked me the same question. Wish I had thought of that response, that is a great answer.  Next time.

My head has been almost smooth for many years so the Sly look wasn't to much of a shock
for relatives that live close to me!
When I see the ones that live far away they will have a reaction but not much of one!!!

I still get the WOW looks and the 'droopy open mouth' looks  8) 8) O:O

We returned from Ohio to Missouri on Tuesday after a 5-day visit with my 80 year old mother, my 4 sisters, nieces and nephews, and neighbors that I had known for many years. They all thought the sly look was great. I got several kisses on top of my head every day - by the women of course.

I asked them if they remembered the musical "Hair" - they did. I said remember the lines: "Give me a head with hair, long, beautiful hair, my hair like Jesus wore it, hallelujah I adore it?"

I said, "I have a new version:" Give me a head that's bare, so shinny there's a glare, my head like Yul Brynner wore it, hallelujah I adore it!"

This just cracked them up - several had to go to the bathroom to prevent an accident. ;D Starting my 3rd month or being sly - wouldn't go back for anything.  O0

I dont get much reaction from my family members because they know what i will respond with .  My cousin though who is ummmm like 24 or so...shaved his the other day and his mom..my uncles wife..jumped all over me for giving him the idea.  I said I did no such thing..he seen me bald and he liked it ...well he is gettin married in about 4 weeks and his wife likes it but his mom is about to have a cow.  I told him to just do what pleases him....not what pleases his mommy...it is time to cut the cord ya know.  Let your little kids grow up and stop rocking them lol

Haven't you explained to him that resistance is futile?  8)

I've tried, but he's more stubborn than I am.   He's also bigger than me, so I have to find a Sly way to get him to shave.

hey T.... so.... did ya get your brother 2 go sly?

Not yet Warhawk, not yet  :Xo!

I even tried to get his girlfriend to take my side, but she's not willing to yet.

Tell him that his choices are to do it the easy way or the hard way.  The easy way is that he can voluntarily shave his dome.  The hard way is that a couple of sly bros will show up at his door, hold him down, and do it for him.  Resistance is futile.   :x! :x!

If his hairloss was affecting his confidence, I'd do that for sure.  But, he has more confidence than anyone I know.  So much so that it borders on arrogance.  He says he'll do it, it's just a matter of time.  He does wear the SBG shirt all the time.  I think because they were free and he's a tight wad, but hey, it's promotion for SBG.

Of course, there is always option #3:  get him really drunk and he'll wake up the next morning with no hair.  >:D

Some of my family doesn't like it, but my mom hates my goatee.  I tell her it makes me look cool. She says it makes me like a hoodlum. Isn't that the same thing?   :popo

This weekend I had to go to an funeral for a great uncle that had passed away last week.  This was the first time that I have been at any gatherings with my extended family (aunts, uncles, counsins). Again, I was a little nervous about the first reactions.   But I am happy to report that there was nothing but positive comments.  I had several family members that didn't recognize me but almost all had something positive to say.  I got serveral comments about what I good shaped head I have.  My brother-in-law, who has a full head of hair, also told me that if it wasn't for the fact that my sister wouldn't let him, he would be SLY also.
