so heres my review on it based on comparison to the MACH 3 TURBO which i normally use.

at first i was a little intimidated by the look of the FUSION because it was so bulky compared to the mach 3 and the blades on the fusion looked like they could do some damage to your head. so at first i was shaving really slow with it because i was nervous i was going to slice my head or something with one of the 5 blades, but i soon loosened up when i realized shaving with the fusion is rather enjoyable lol. razor is bulkier than the mach 3 so its bigger in your hand (which is a plus). also i felt that the fusion glides on your head so much smoother than the mach 3. you dont have to take as many back and fourth strokes with it like you do with the mach 3. it also doesnt clog like the mach 3 does.

some negatives ive noticed about the fusion is for some reason i didnt get as close of a shave with it as the mach 3. it wasnt THAT noticeable. i just have a darker shadow than i normally have when i use the mach 3. (this could have nothing to do with the razor though. it might just be because i just shaved yesterday lol). i seem to miss a lot more spots with the fusion as well. more than i normally miss with the other razor.

ill have to test the fusion out again to find out if that "smooth shave" theory is accurate or not considering ive only used the fusion once. but for using it only once i give it a B- lol

UPDATE

im changing the FUSIONS B- rating to a C because i just went over my head again with the mach 3 and i got a smoother, shinier shave.

so i really think the fusions a good razor if your in a hurry and want a quick "GOOD" shave. but for a "GREAT" shave i think im going to stick to my mach 3.  O0

To each dome, it's own--I find the absence of nicks and slices great, but I do a double shave, and find it to be great.  All of us must find a weapon that agrees with their scalp and gives a great shave.

You can't rate ANY razor by using it 1 time, like anything your head and hair has to adjust to something different whether it's an electric or manual razor.... :-\

Ghost, You are going to have to give the Fusion more than just a one time try.  I have used both Fusion and Mach III (alot) and Fusion is clearly the best.

It takes a few shaves to get used to a new razor.  I also think it can affect the way the stubble grows, resulting in a closer or perhaps less close shave.  The first time I used the Fusion, it was the best shave I'd ever had and I was just amazed at how close it got.  But I was less impressed with subsequent shaves.  Nothing really wrong with it but I didn't find it to be superior enough to the Mach III to justify the higher price tag.

ya im gonna try the fusion again. instead of shaving the next day (tommorow) im gonna go a day or 2 and shave with the FUSION again and see if i get better results. today i was impressed with the shave considering i didnt get any nicks. it just didnt get as close of a shave as my mach 3.

also...i heard FUSION blades dull faster than MACH 3's. is that true?

I find it much easier to shave with the fusion - I don't like the way the mach 3 is positioned and how it pivots. It also seems to get more hair in one sweep than the mach 3, at least for me. It's hard to rate ANY blade a 5 for me because I always have to go over my head 4 or 5 times to get it totally smooth.

I have both and like my Fusion better.  When I first got it, It felt heavy in my hand and awkward.  But now, it is perfect.  I get a better shave from the Fusion.  When I use the Mach, I tend to cut myself, head and face, I think because I get used to the fusion's weight and press to hard with the Mach3.
