Yes I remember Tae Bo.....but now i have to get rid of that image of the blue tights lol.
Hey rward...
<<<<<< what would your suggestion be for this mess I have gotten myself into?
Rward,
My job started taking alot of my time about 4 months ago, which I was working out around a hour a day with mainly cardio before I was consumed. I am trying to get back to it but my energy is gone, I think I could sleep 3 days straight right now.
I know when I get back into it I will have more energy, I just need to find the energy to get started.
Any suggestions? I have been on a fruit bing but its not really helping.
Watch your caffeine intake. Do you drink coffee? If so how much? Also, what is your diet for a typical day? A poor diet will certainly decrease your energy levels. After knowing the exact details of these questions, I could be of more help to you.
My weekly daily routine is usually:
Breakfast- bagle with cream cheese, or a banana, or nothing.
2 cups of coffee maximum
Lunch- Ham with cheese or tuna sandwich and a tangerine or orange, handfull of almonds or peanuts before eating.
Southern Ice Tea or water
Dinner- Pork, chicken or turkey- trying to stay off beef for now, pasta and sauce. Side dishes- Salad, corn. greens or peas, white rice or sometimes stuffing.
Snacks consist of almonds or peanuts usually. Sometimes I may dive into a bag of chips or cheez-its.
Usually do about 3 glasses of water a day. Probably 4 glasses of tea.
I am not a heavy person and at most could trim 10lbs. I am trying to just stay toned but the whole 12 hr day has thrown me into this funk I can't seem to overcome. The whole tired thing is not typically me, has me scratching my head.
PS- Thanks for the response.
Caffeine itself is thermogenic (calorie burning). However, chronic overconsumption of caffeine stresses the CNS (central nervous system) which therefore produces cortisol. Caffeine should be limited to certain times of the day when needed, not when drinking diet soda throughout the day.

An easy way to START fixing your eating habits are:
1. Change your breakfast. You don't seem like you'd have time to make egg whites, so I'd suggest a meal replacement powder. Here is a fantastic one:

2. Cut out the Sweet Tea. Liquid calories are hell to your physique. Replace wih diet tea.
3. Keep carbohydrates like the pasta OUT of your dinner. Stick with only vegetables.
4. Keep snacking on nuts ONLY. Cut out the other crap.
These changes would make a significant change in your body.
I've given advice out hundreds of people, with only a small percentage of them following through with it. A lot of people like to hear what they have to do, but just aren't willing to put the time into it. I just wanted to present this interesting 'tid bit' to ALL the members.
Keep me informed if you do indeed change your eating habits and purchase the meal replacement powder.
