What is going wrong with me? I'm becoming really accident prone. The last two times I've shaved my head I've managed to cut my head to ribbons - and decorated the bathroom with a lovely blood splattered motif.

The first time it happend I blame myself for rushing, but this morning the same thing happened. I then forgot myself and sprayed my usual cologne on my head !!!

and once the pain had stopped and I'd finished screaming ( not literally) I then had to clean up the bathroom.

It just really annoys me that I'll have to wait a few of days before I can go properly sly again.

I sometimes cut my head when I used machIII and Extreme3 but using the fusion i have never yet had an accident. It really IS the best blade

wait wait wait.....so you cut yourself with Mach 3 but not fusion? I have thought about fusion for some time but I choose to stay away because people say the blades are very sharp. I use Mach 3 for now with Bald Guyz shave gel and don't cut myself. But I would love to give fusion a try just to see what it's like, but I don't want cuts.
So how sharp are the fusion blades compared to Mach 3?

I would have thought it's the other way round, bro: the sharper the blade, the less likely you are to cut yourself.
MachIII werent bad: mainly cut myself if in a rush, but even in a rush with the fusion I have never cut myself...
...now I've said that, I dread my next shave!!

DaithiSean ~ Sorry to hear you wounded yourself. I've done it myself once. I really think the razor cartidge was wonky in my case. Heal up quickly, but don't shave too soon or you'll be opening new wounds.
Take care.

I may slice myself a bit if I'm using a dull blade, which doesn't happen very often. I'm a Headblader, and I haven't really gashed myself in... well... a REALLY long time.

I have found inner-peace with my HeadBlade. I use a Fusion on the face and back of the head/neck. I too have gone through slicing episodes (not paying attention, too fast, dull blades, hacking off a zit, etc.) It happens. It will happen. It's just part of the experience. Just think of it as your little blood sacrifice to the sink gods! lol
