To reiterate my earlier post... What I would find weird is someone starting a conversation about it or even making a comment out of the blue. You can easily see my hairline since I shave my head or let it grow for a week... why comment? I don't believe I'm sensitive about it but I would probably find it irritating if someone wanted to spark up a conversation about it. I certainly wouldn't ask someone if they've put on more weight since the last time I saw them or tell them that they used to look younger. It's hair... shaved or not my hairline is obvious to even someone with bad vision...

Of course I never have a problem if they want to compliment me or say something about the shine/glare.  O0

I like how Yossarian put this:
Quote
Very few people notice if I have a number 1 buzz / no guard / slick, because to them my hair is no longer a part of who i am.

alright well good cuz im experiencing the same thing. i was hoping i wasnt the only one. i was starting to get nervous lol. people are so damn nosey if they can ACTUALLY notice a thinning hairline on a shaved head. that means they would have to be staring at you intensely which is a little creepy lol.

In the case of my friend Dan noticing, I don't think it is creepy.  He has known me since 6th grade.  So he knows me pretty well.  He remembers when I had a white man's 'fro in high school and a mullet in the late 80's and early 90's.

well thats understandable. im not talking about friends. im talking about a random "accuaintance"

I haven't had anybody say anything.  But it should just reiterate to yourself that you made the right decision.  I also think most people don't notice, except maybe those guys thinking about taking the plunge themselves.
I remember seeing sly guys here and there and asking them how often they do it etc.

I have them say the opposite..

"oh...you're not balding, you have all your hair"...like that's the only reason someone would shave their head smooth because of hairloss...

then I tell em' I love being bald way better than when I had hair! O0
