cool, another pipe smoker.  The pipe I am smoking is stamped "Oscar" on one side and has "italy" stamped on the other side.  I won it with a few other pipes from eBay, it was included with a Petersen and a few other no names.  It's a great smoker and I was very surprised by it.

current tobacco is C&D Old Joe Krantz

Thanks, Ken....My personality is not like that...but the look can come in handy....and that is me in this pic...unretouched.

It's funny and fits in with an entire thread we have on the subject:

I've been a big guy for a long time....but, since shaving, it takes it to a whole new level.  For instance, I'm a very cautious and defensive driver, do the speed limit & s**t.

Yesterday, I was on C470 here in Denver ('member that, Paulie?)....any way, I had a guy come flyin' up on me...and he was pissed I wasn't fitting into his schedule in HIS lane...

Well, I could see him in my rear-view freakin' out.....first chance he gets he jars up along side of me to get a look at the woos that's takin' up his lane....

I just look over without an expression...and he and his buddy...both trip for a second and then give me thumbs up  O0...

Me & PigPen decided that it will work well when our daughters start dating.

Good to have ya with us, man....yer a striking individual yourself....

You remind me of a road/stage manager we had that doubled as security/body guard....

(used to be in the Heavy Metal business).

That's a great story Rob.

First impessions go a long way, if I give someone "the look" they will make the effort not to get in my way.  On the other hand, if I smile, then people will approach without hesitation.  I have a daughter also (15 y.o.) and I agree with you and PigPen, the look will definatly come in handy.

Heavy Metal, that's awesome, I have been a metalhead since I was 12 years old and heard my first Iron Maiden album. Who did you work for?

I have a 16 y.o. daughter and just met her first boyfriend a little over a week ago, about a week after going clean shaven.  I don't know if he was really intimidated or just really shy but I hope it was the former, cuz he needs to be.   >:D

I was in a band called Letchen Grey....we sold about 80,000 records.  We were under the same management as Guns & Roses and Great White.  There's a couple pics in the gallery.

Since we were under the same management as those guys we would blow people away at our concerts by bringing out Axl Rose and/or Slash for our encore to join us in playing a Zeppelin tune or something. O0 r*%

Hey right on Robmeister!   O0 O:O
Can I say I know a rock star now?   ;)
I used to play drums also... semi-professionally.  Never made it past the B-rooms really.  Played a couple of A-rooms and one AAA room but that was it.  The last band I was in was called The Flaming Aardvarks and we recorded one cd.  Sold cd's locally and independantly.  Got some local radio play but only enough to garner a $5 royalty check.   :*))  The band broke up within 6 months of recording the cd and that was about 15 years ago.  I am just starting to play again.  I have a little 5 piece Premiere kit that I am converting to v-drums.   O:O
