I just rented Slither and thought it was ok. Also, The Descent was pretty good. I want to see Hannibal, the book was great and the movie is getting good reviews.
I watched Sci-Fi type of horror flick this weekend called "Altered". The wife wasn't a big fan but I thought it was pretty good.
Maybe not in the true genre of "horror" but check out The Changling. Unlikely star of George C. Scott, but good scare film minus the blood and guts, like the old Hitchcock type.

I LOVE the sixth sense...!!I think films with kids in are more disturbing than most, I dunno whether that's because I'm a parent or what.I also liked that other movie by the director of the sixth sense, Signs. There's a few scenes in that that make me jump out of my skin.

I tape Hauntings on Thurs nights, has same effects but based on real stories.
