my dad is too chicken to shave his noggin....

well, for over a year know my mum has been telling my dad to at least have a buzz cut and i have been helping her aswell because over the last year i have gone from having long hair to sly.
my dad has nearly a horse-shoe hair cut on his head but it trying to save the last bit of hair in the middle. all we want him to do is have a #2 all over, but personally i want him to go sly.
how could i convince my dad to go sly or at least have a hair cut so it looks half decent.?
do any of you have the same problems with dads which just will not get rid of the hair?

my dad cuts his hair short but he still has the horseshoe.  He doesnt listen to what I say as much as he does his granddaughters.  My oldest has been on him to shave it off like me.  Well he hasnt yet...but at least he cuts it short and doesnt try to do the combover.

You can lead by example -- keep your own head slick and shiny at all times and hope that one day your dad decides to follow your lead.  Aside from that, there's nothing you can do.  It's his decision.
