my mom and sis think i would look better if i shaved the beard. ive been blowin it off for the longest time cuz i love my beard and it sounded like nonsense. the only thing is its getting really long and scraggly.

the negatives of shaving my beard off though would be, only having eyebrows as facial hair, and i think that might look weird with a shaved head. the other negative would be a small chin. i grew my beard long because i have a small chin and the beard kind of stretches it so it doesnt make my head look so big and alienlike. whats your guys opinion?

The facial hair isn't the issue, its your skin tone.  Get some color dude!! :p  I don't see much of a beard in that photo and in your avatar I see an Amish beard (which still doesn't look like much), so in my opinion, if you can't grow much facial hair then just shave it off.  I think either way you're good looking so it won't be a big deal.  You live once so you might as well try being clean shaved.

I like the goatee in the picture you posted better than the chinstrap beard (is that the right terminology?)  You have a long jaw and the beard tends to accentuate that.  The goat tends to draw attention away from the jawline.

I know what you mean by the small chin; I just grew my goat back for the same reason.  I don't like the stache-less goat on myself, but it works well for you.  I'd definitely keep some sort of facial hair if I were you.  Don't get rid of it to please someone else.  Only get rid of it if you really want to, and it doesn't sound to me like you do want to.

ya i dont really want to. the pic i posted is old. it was from august so ive been growing my beard out about 4 months since then so its pretty long. my 15 yr old sister just pointed out to me tonight though that i should try shaving it off and seeing how it looks., so that kind of got my attention and i started to think about it. i mean....i could always give it a try. its only hair so itll grow back. im just worried about what itll look like with a bald head because ive had facial hair ever since i went sly. i was clean shaven beforehand when i still had my curly hair.

and the chinstrap looked horrible haha. i had that the first week i went sly because i didnt know wth facial hair went with a bald head lol. i was "experimenting" heres how it looked. lol....

hey ghost:  that's the beauty of keeping a chrome dome.  we have some fun styles like the mr. clean, goatee, chin-strap, stache, soul-patch.  i say have fun with it.  imo...  i think U rock the goatee.  whatever ya do... have fun with it.  however... if U decide 2 "grow" the hairs of your dome... i have a funny feeling that U won't last a week without "doing the deed".

lol...dude your head is a fine shape.  As far as the facail hair--I think it looks good as a gaot. Or the chinstrap if its kept really short.  Wear what you like...not what your family likes. Ghost, good looks indeed.  As far as having no facial hair with the sly and just having eyebrows, that brings attention to your eyes. And if you are worried about the small chin (I can't see it) the eyebrows will bring everyone's attention up to your eyes. I must confess that I went to a hair replacement Org. to get eyebrows.  Can you imagine a slick head and no eyebrows?  Right out of the Adams family. Uncle Fester I think!
