Ellipticals

(1/1)

StogieStang:
I purchased a 1 year gym membership and I have been using only the elliptical.  What I would like to do is purchase my own elliptical instead of renewing my gym membership. My brother who shares a place with me has a bowflex, so I will share my elliptical with him and he will share his bowflex with me.

Can anyone suggest a decent elliptical? The one my gym has is $4500. I would like to get a decent one for around $1000.00, maybe $1500.00 if it exists in that price range. Any suggestions?

I have one made by Horizon fitness. It was about $1000 bucks a couple years ago. It is nearly gym quality and I've never had a problem with it.

I have the sole E25.
It can be had directly from sole for under 1000 shipped.  Its a very small footprint and as smooth as they come.
Heres a review...

Plus keep this in mind....
Manufacturer's Warranty
Frame - lifetime, labor: 1 year, parts / electronics - 3 years

StogieStang:
Thanks,

The E25 doesn't look bad.

I've used ellipticals at the gym and have one at home. I personally found that I wasn't really getting a good enough workout from it and prefer the treadmill. Being just under 13 stones I tend to burn close to 1000 calories in 60 mins at a speed of 10.5 k.
