Bob's Razor Works
« on: November 15, 2008, 05:56:56 PM »
I have a variety of custom made shaving accessories on my site.
Custom Handles for 3 piece DE razors.
I'm trying to find a source for Mach 3 and Fusion heads so I can offer custom razors like the ones from Edwin Jagger.
Bespoke Shaving brushes like this one I made for Kotribe at HSC.

Here's my personal razor.
I can make one like it for you or out of a variety of different woods.
I hope to this week acquire Mach3 heads and will be making custom handled for them.
If possible I hope to be able to make the heads inter changeable.
One handle and you can switch between a DE head and a Mach3 head.

That would be sweet. You got a sale if you could manage that.
You just don't see such fine craftsmanship like that anymore.  O0

I'm almost sure I can pull it off but won't be sure till I get my hands on one of the Mach3 heads.
The seller is suppose to get them in on the 26th.
The modification should be easy, I would have to drill out the smaller metric threads on the Mach3 head and retap with a #10-32 thread that Gillette 3 piece razor's use.

I had Edwin Jagger handle for Mach3 blades a few years back.  More superficial than anything admittedly but what you mentioned sounds really interesting.

As of the weekend I'm abroad for a few weeks but Ill be interested in acquiring something like this.
I'll drop you a line.
