Introduction

Been lurking here a while; finally decided to join and post just for the heck of it.

My story, in short...I can't remember when I started losing hair, but I remember it was much earlier than I would have liked. I figured that eventually any hope of attracting women would become hopeless.

Life went on.

Then, one day, my girlfriend suggested I just shave it all off, which I had been considering anyway. A bit nervous at first, of course, but once over the shock, I instantly loved it and have since.

I actually can't stand pictures of myself before the shave; I look pretty darn dorky.

Surprisingly (at least to me) the reactions from co-workers and such have been very minimal, if not non-existent altogether. I was hoping for some more compliments, but I guess the real important thing is that I love it. Nuts to everyone else.

Welcome to SBG, Imminent Waffle. That's a great story about your road to shaving your head...even better you had the support of your girlfriend to go for it! Thanks for the introduction. Your advice might help some others trying to decide to take the plunge.
