This is too spooky.  I was reading the thread, thinking "gee I don't ever recall having conversations with guys about clothing and appearances", is this a "bald guy thing?"  No offense intended guys, I was just trying to come up with a humourous slant to the thread.  Anyway, long about page two of some very interesting posts, a dream I had last night came to mind.  I was shopping for clothes and in particular A SUIT!  I am 44 years old and have NEVER owned a suit in all my life.  I am a casual dresser from waaaay back.  For me getting dressed up is putting on a clean pair of spotless jeans and a dress-shirt.  So here I am an hour or so after the dream and stumble across all this talk of suits.
How does that tune from the twilight zone go?  do do do do do do do do....   :D

Shiny, I think it's funny that growing up I wanted a job where I had to wear a suit like a big time business man.  Now that I've been working for 7 years out of college, I do everything I can to avoid wearing a suit at all.  My current job allows me to wear jeans and a polo or button up any day that I'm not visiting clients.  If I am visiting clients, I just switch the jeans with khakis.  Gotta love software startups!

Heck, even billionaire Mark Cuban has the same thoughts as us.

People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

HA!!  I like the "money" color... I guess mine would be light blue.

That doesn't suprise me... :*))

Did you two have a man date and pick colors? ;)

I like blues a lot. And it is funny cause the wife is always picking blues for me too.

Ya that's it!  Boy me and my tin finger   :-\

But the worst part of the dream was when I got home in my new suit and my wife laughed at me and then the toilet had to be fixed so I went to get out of my suit and suddenly it had turned into a... (remember this was just a dream now - and a bad one at that)... a jumpsuit.  And the top was YELLOW with FLOWERS on it.  OMG I'm so  :-[

I look pretty good now in anything I throw on, but short-sleeved button-ups in particular look more sophisticated on me, especially with my glasses.  Bald just seems to go with everything.

I can't say too much here since I'm not really into the whole "style" or "fashion statement" thing.  I never did really think I had a "style."  Like I've said in another topic on the forum I'm mainly a jeans and tee shirt guy. But I do also like wearing button up thin shirts.  Usually short sleeve but some long.  I'm really also into the softer "island" type of shirts that button up.  I don't know if you know what I mean but they usually have some type of print on them that favor the beach or the some kind of island.  Any kind of jeans, or jean shorts, that fit loose or baggy.  I can't stand to wear pants that are all snug on my thighs and crotch.  Usually I rock the Levi's Silvertab baggy.  I've never been a big fan of Old Navy but they just came out with a new style of jeans called "extra loose" which fit me real nice.  Plus they are like $20 cheaper than the Levi's.  Then it's usually a white tee shirt, or darker now since I've went sly.  I can pick up a 4 pack of Fruit of the Loom tees from the local store for about $8.  Pair of comfortable shoes(my usual preference is Vans.)  But my favorite foot apparel to rock is flip flops or sandals if the weather is good enough.  I'm good to go.  Ever since I started going sly though I do like myself in black.  My wife says I look good in brown because it brings out my eyes.  Then again when she is mad at me she says my eyes are brown because I'm full of sh%t.  Hmmmmm.   ;D

Bro, you are rockin' the hell out of that kilt.  I wouldn't mess with you if I bumped into you somewhere.  You look like you are ready to tear some s#%t up.
