Schick Quattro
« on: October 05, 2008, 06:03:56 AM »
Just curious if any of you use the Schick Quattro. I have been using one for years and currently use it to shave my head. Good results though I am probably going to purchase a HeadBlade next week.

Hammer, I have used the Quattro off and on for the last year.  I found that it gives a very close shave and I really liked the fact that the blades are much less expensive than the Gillette Fusion or Mach III.  The done sides were that I tended to get alot more nicks and cuts with the quattro and that the blades clogged much more often because of the little wires running across the blades.

I got a free Schick Quattro in the mail about a year or so ago.  It was decent, but I agree about the clogging.

Yes, A die-hard fan.  This year has been a little harder than in the past.  But last weeks win over the Broncos gave us a little hope for the season.  We'll just see what today brings.

I've been using the Quattro Titanium for about 3 months now - replaced my trusty old Mach 3 which finally gave up the ghost. I also experienced gunking up in the blades at first, but after I started exfoliating before shaving, that problem went away. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of shave I'm getting from it, and find that I get quite a few shaves per blade (I haven't counted.) I have no plans for switching to anything else in the foreseeable future O0

I have used and like the results but the price of the Quattro cartridges are expensive still although they are cheapner than the Fusion cartridges

i've tried the schick quattro titanium last year.  it gave me a decent head shave but it did not compare 2 my fusion (manual).  i also didn't like how the quattro's handle felt in my hand.
