Howdy,

Just joined the site today and figured the introductions area would be the best place to start. Me, I'm an oil and gas consultant from Houston, Texas, 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University, and I am bald. Haha.

The first time I shaved my head was almost a year ago. I have been losing my hair since I was about 18 and as a result my haircuts have been getting shorter and shorter. After a while I just got fed up with going to a barber and having the fuss of having hair. So I took the plunge and loved it. I remember coming across this site back then but for whatever reason did not give it its due. I will now admit that it is a great resource and really the only place of its kind I know. Anyways, about six months into my foray of slyness I got tired of the complaints from my mom and gf, they just weren't down, so I went back to the darkside. It was a sad time my friends. I came to realize I really dislike having hair and enjoy the dome immensely. So about two weeks ago I decided, &^%$ it, I'm gonna shave my head again, I don't care what anyone else thinks. So I did. Apparently times have changed and the gf kinda likes it now, so everything is groovy.

Glad to be on board.

Sounds great bro.  So when are we going to get the honors of seeing a pic...better yet...you work with the oil and gas... Did anyone tell you that you have to supply everyone in here with a gas card for your membership??? LOL  Glad you are here bro...keep active.  Lookign forward to getting to know you

Thanks for the warm welcome.

And most of my work is with smaller production companies, not "Big Oil". Therefore, no gas card, even for me.

Welcome "back" to the site Rodubls.
This site is also about the confidence to be who you are, regardless of hair. Some people walk around
in a fog of day to day imprisonment not realizing their own potentials. Don't think you will see too
many of them on here  8)

Welcome rodubls.  I relate to your story when you say you got a lot of complaints from your mom and gf and went back to the dark side.  I got the same complaints from my wife, went back to the darkside, then came to realize I really dislike having hair and enjoy the bald dome.  Like you, I went back to shaving my head.  Haven't had hair in six months now and the Mrs. has been great about it, for the most part.  Keep it sly, bro!  It suits you.
