Go to kitchen..... open snack cabinet, pull out favorite snack, open frig, pull out favorite beverage, proceed to recliner, open favorite snack and beverage, consume both, work out finger by changing to favorite sporting event, doze off for 1 hour.... workout complete ;)

I have heard that running down hills will destroy your knees--but running up is ok. Be careful with the hills! Other than that--it sounds like some good training. Interval training is the best they say--this seems like a good interval.

Swim like a madman! Good cardio, good strength and toning and can lead to your joints and back feeling a hell of a lot better. Of course, I dont swim like that but YOU could! lol! I stick with a 1/2 hour of paid walking at work every day, another 1/2 hour with the dogs at night and then lot of whooppee with the misses to round out my cardio. Strength traing comes just from being the only male in the house...you know opening pickle jars, getting things out of the storage unit, moving the same couch 14 times so that it can be placed back in it original location....
