Hair Growth Inconsistent
« on: September 10, 2008, 06:16:59 AM »
I usually shave every other day.  I find that I get a smoother shave.  Lately, I've noticed that my hair seems longer than it had been a few weeks ago on my off day.  Anyone else ever noticed that their hair growth is erratic? Is it a sign of an impending colder than average Chicago winter  ;)

I don't know if it has anything to do with winter but I have noticed that. I got snowed in in Chicago once. You guys don't mess around.

The inconsistent growth isn't that extreme.  :o

That's more on par for my ear and nose hair growth.  The scourge of middle age.  :Xo!

Yeah, I hear ya there. Unlike losing hair on the noggin as you age the nose and ear hair get worse with age. Haven't noticed much difference on the dome as I shave it everyday and don't give it a chance to grow.

Can't say I know much about ear and nose hair growth yet, but I feel like I've now got a lot to look forward to.  :XX

As for erratic hair growth... yeah, I notice that a lot.  I chalk it up to not shaving it precisely the same every day or razor wear or whatever.

But who knows, Red, you may be your own personal weather forecaster...

I've definitely determined that my hair grows more slowly while asleep.

It's not inconsistent hair growth, it's your scalp shrinking more with older age......
I was told to think outside the box, how did I get in the box in the first place?
