So.. I got this quick question for you all brothers who use shaving oil of some sort to scrape ur domes..

When you are done, how do u deal with your dome (this time more like oil left overs) ?
Do you wash ur dome after shaving with oil, or do you just rinse it off?
Also any other tips from u bros to use these oils properly would be greatly appericiated

Thnx ya All!

PS. Maybe not that short post anyway
Cold water rinse then Nivea Shave Balm works great for me
I use the oil and then apply the headslick on top of it....the combination of both give me a much closer shave....rinse with cold water....apply witch hazel ....and then the Nivea after shave balm...
Cold water rinse, then Head Lube from Headblade is what I use. Sometimes instead of the Head Lube, I'll use five drops of the shaving oil (Shave Secret) on my shaved head to keep it from getting dry. That works too.
Thnx guys for ur fast replies!
I´m asking this because i´ve thought to give oils a try because so many of u have been satisfied with those..
Just want to do first experience properly so it wouldn´t be a blood shead
I just use the cold water rinse and sometimes ice cubes. Nothing else.

How do u prepare ur old dome for shaving? Exfoliate, just wash with soap etc. etc.?

I honestly don't use anything other than water on my dome. I found that my sensitive skin just does better without the use of soaps or detergents. So it is just water and shave oil, with a bit of shave gel on top.
I will, thanks alot man!

This routine sounds just perfect to me because of a budget (sry if misspelling)
and because im goin in the army in January..
Obviosly it´s allways better to have minimum weight possible to carry with ya in there
I'm a little late here, but I've been using Shave Secret (Shaving oil) for about 4 months now. My routine is: Exfoliate, rinse off, oil up noggin and face, shave. Exfoliate again in shower, then wash head with soap. Cold water rinse for noggin, then slather on a bunch of witch hazel, and let that air dry. After that I sometimes put a little more Shave Secret on, if I want that extra little bit of shine on the noggin, and it does make a nice skin conditioner.
