I am sure we all have 'em, but....
« on: August 26, 2008, 06:14:40 AM »
Have you all ever just been sitting there listening to the radio and suddenly you hear on the police reports that a family member has been arrested?  I just walked into work and hear not one...but two of my family members have been arrested last night.  One was my cousin and she was arrested on disorderly conducted and is being held in the Daviess County Jail on a $4500 bond.  The other was was a son of another cousin who was arrested on minor consumption, possesion of illegal drugs, DWI all the while he had a warrant out for his arrest for sexual assault.
I just sit here and shake my head in disbelief.  I know they are family...but I dont have to claim them.

I can honestly say I have never heard, or even read in the paper anything of the sort.  Guess we are just lucky.

I know you're an open book Timmay, but I'm not sure that I'd be telling everyone my cousins are in the slammer!  :*))

Dude my sister is THE family f**k-up. Been in jail multiple times, lies her ass off, drug problems, etc. We don't even know if she's actually married to her husband (boyfriend?) of 5-6 months. I wish I had a normal sister (or brother)....

Now look, down here in Georgia we don't hide our crazy people.

A lot of my family is in south Georgia down around Tifton, Moultrie and all those farm towns where I grew up. I come from large farm families.  There is always one or two in the pokey for something.

Not family but there was a high-profile case a couple years ago where a drunk driver killed a 15 year old kid and the driver was the husband of my mom's best friend. She was so shocked when the radio said the name that she almost put the car in the ditch.
