Smoothies!

Razor X:
How have I managed to survive this long without smoothies?  Finally I have found something that is healthy, satisfying, and easy to prepare that I actually look forward to eating.   I am following the recipes in the book The Abs Diet.  In most cases, the base consists of 3/4 cup oatmeal, some 1% milk, some yogurt, some whey powder and some ice cubes.

My favorite so far is the one that I've been eating for breakfast, made with chocolate whey powder and a little bit of peanut butter.  I had another one last night made with mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries) which was very good.  Tonight I had one with just blueberries which was not great (too bland, needed something tart in the mix).

I also had one the other night that had 1/8 cup of frozen orange juice concentrate and a banana.  I'm not overly fond of banana-flavored anything so that is one I will probably not make again.  I'm trying to think of something else to use with the orange juice concentrate.  I may try it with some lemon-flavored yogurt.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Now that sounds good!  Thanks.

PigPen:
How about some Vodka for a mixer?

PBurke:
