FIBA World Championship: Greece kick ass...
« on: September 01, 2006, 08:42:07 AM »
They have unutterable last names, they don't have a single bald guy in their team, but they
sure know how to play, and how to play well.

I'm talking about the Greek basketball team in this year's FIBA World Championship.
We've been undefeated in this tournament so far (8 victories in a row). We've managed to come to the quarter finals where
we played against team USA earlier today, and we even managed to beat them! (101-95) Wow!
What more can one ask of a team?

I sure am exhilarated with the way things are unfolding.
Now the Greeks reached the finals, and we shall play against Spain for the title this Sunday.

What do you think, will the Greeks take the title? What do you think about this team so far?

Were you watching the games at all? How did you like the tournament so far?

Congrats to Greece!  I'll root for them over Spain and Argentina.

I didn't even know that this tournament was going on right now.  Though, I don't watch much TV anymore.  Though that will change as the NFL starts up.
