hey guys. Ive been sly now for about 3 weeks. Lovin it but have some questions for some of you more experienced guys.
I notice that I can get a tan on my face and head where no hair grows but the areas that I shave (the horseshoe and some stuff on top) cant seem to retain a tan. Natural glow doesnt seem to tan it neither does the sun. I was out last night and saw a lot of guys who seem to have an all over tan and a very faint shadow. Now it could be that these guys have a darker complexion too...not sure. Just wondering how long it may take before I get a better blend.

I suppose it depends on how much sun you are getting daily and what level of SPF you have on, DJ. How often and long are you in the sun? Do you normally tan quickly?

My skin is fair. I'm Irish/German ancestry. And even after a year and a half I can still see that my scalp is a little bit lighter. It's not that noticable, except to me.

im out in the sun at least an hour a day during the week and 3-4 hours on the weekend each day(assuming its nice)--I generally dont tan too well.
I wear an spf 20 but on the weekends its like spf 50.

Ain't that the truth. I can never get a perfectly smooth face shave. I always have problems with the areas around my jaw line and the base of my neck.
Head shaving is a sinch compared to the face.

Same here. No matter how hard I try, I can never get the face completely smooth, but I can get the head completely smooth.

It took a couple of weeks for me. But after a while my head had kind of the same blend as my face.
The only thing bothering me a little bit is that you always see a shadow on the head ... there where the hair was ... even after a smooth shave. But I got used to it.
