Maybe, but isn't Krav Maga more about self-defense/fighting multiple folks, or armed opponents?
I think it just depends on how each fighter uses their own tools to win. I train everything, but just so I can defend against takedowns and BJJ. (Itrain them most) All I want to do is stay safe on the ground, and work to get up. I want to spend as little energy as I can to knock someone out standing. Every fighter has a "go to" strength, but if you don't train your weak spots, you may as well quit before the show!
I'm just blown away by the cardio fitness you need to fight MMA.....5 minute rounds!! Are you kidding me?!?!

Yeah - You definitely have to be a cardio machine! Heck, most normal guys are completely spent in under a minute. And even those who ARE cardio machines, how many times have you seen a greatly conditioned fighter go out and dog it, because he took a little too much out of himself cutting weight? My hat's off to anyone who does this - they EARN their paychecks in the preparation phase.
