Now un-sly a bit
« on: July 04, 2008, 07:33:27 AM »
Well my fellow sly folks,i hate to admit it but i had to become slightly un-sly.Since last friday i have grown back a small amount of hair in order to cease the endless headaces. And i'm happy to say that it has worked!Only a week's worth of growth has yielded 1/8" of hair.So i still retain an almost bald look yet no headaches.
A shame,i know. But the calm in my head is worth it!!!

Jim

It is like admitting that "you been bad"

I grew mine in a little for my round of interviews back in February....

Now I'm allowing a little growth before we head to California to visit my aging and ailing folks....

They're in their '80's and just wanna go easy on them......their peace of mind (and cardiac condition) is more important that asserting my image.

So, PigPen.....I will have a little growth, man.....don't YOU have a heart attack when I see ya in Albuquerque.

In my case...the financial planning firm I now work for is EXTREMELY conservative.....decided to tow the line since there were no bald folk there.   Now there's one  O0

With my parents they don't like the bald look....I see them like every 2 years...so I don't mind growing it in some to ease their mind a bit.

Handlebar,

That is really weird to get headaches from having a shaved head.  Just wondering if you
had ever seen a doctor to find out exactly what the lack of hair does to make your head ache?

I was thinking it's probably the cold air, or the changes in temperature across the scalp that just irritates the head giving him a headache.

Kind of like brain freeze when you drink something really cold, just on your head.

I get headaches if I shave my head more often than once every 8 hours
