Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.

I work very hard, and in a stressful situation most of the time, but I unwind by going to the river and casting my fly rod for a while,  most of the time I don't care if I catch anything.
I was told to think outside the box, how did I get in the box in the first place?

If I could do it at the end of every day, I would be watching the sunset from the Kona side of the Big Island.

But while back home, to really unwind, I go down to Flathead Lake.

Yep, I like sunsets and sunrise as it is very quiet and one can reflect back on many things.

Thanks, I love shooting pics and video's which create good memories.

I'm making DVD's today from our last visist to Hawaii, so I can clear my HD on the video camera.

I like to read (reading The Silmarillion right now), draw/paint, play some bass guitar or acoustic guitar, play some Lord of the Rings Online,  come to a few forums and chat it up, watch some old shows that my memory tells me were good (but they aren't actually good)...I tend to be solitary when I need to unwind. I enjoy people and I LOVE to talk and tell stories, but I cannot survive without some time to do nothing.

I also like taking a walk with my puppy. VERY relaxing. But, I don't really lead a stressful life. So I don't actually have any reason to do so much relaxing, except that I WANT to and I have no one in my life to tell me not to. haha

This is a drawing I did a while back for a story I am working on.

To unwind I'll usually shoot a few racks of pool (billiards). I love the game and find it really relaxing. Of course the couple of whiskeys I have don't hurt either.  ;)

Barring that, I'll usually have a glass of wine or Chimay, put on some music and read a bit. I LOVE to read. :) It may sound weird, but I'll sometimes read aloud. I got into the habit when I was living with a girl who liked to be read to. I got into the habit of finding my own reading voice soothing. Is that as strange as it sounds now that I am typing it?
I  can think of stranger things. I love to read as well, but I read very slowly...and I actually say every word in my head as though I was speaking out loud. So I almost do the same thing. In fact, I am typing at the same speed I talk...and saying each word in my head as I type...I could probably type faster, only I can't think faster. hahaha Now I sound stupid. Oh well.
