Ditto on what Vash said. Surround yourself with people who appreciate you for who you are and be yourself.

For me it's a sense of freedom. I'm a BBC cat who could grow his hair back in a heartbeat. I don't have to worry about all the fuss I used to have when I had hair.

Today my work assignments caused me to be outside most of the day in 90+ temperatures.
It was GREAT having a gentle breeze go across my scalp to cool me. I was sad for the guys walking past me with a a full head of hair. I remember how HOT that was.
Yup. Wouldn't have it any other way. And for me, it is Bald By Choice.

Even if i had hair i would buzz and change from number to number at times so theres no problem there (since i buzz now and let it grow out from lazyness) but i dont hate the look thats for sure...since the hair at the front finally went (there was like a island of hair there) i like it alot more now...it was never a problem anyway it wasnt like it was my "look" it was just there i cant say i even took it for granted either sure i looked good with certain hairstyles but still i like my look now so theres no problem...if it grew back now then great but i honestly couldnt careless...but to answer your question yes i do like being bald...and even though i said here before i would like the choice to have hair it really dont make much difference cause being realistic now im not gonna be sly im lazy i may do it once but i wont keep it cause its an everyday thing...and like i said i grow my hair out now due to lazyness so it dont matter lol.

Summer time means Sly time for me, so yesterday I had my barber shave me down. He's not even surprised anymore when I ask him to shave off my full head of hair.
Most of the "action" took place with me turned away from the mirror, so when he finished the 2nd round of shaving (first WTG then ATG) and turned me around, I was looking at a sly guy and I gotta tell you that, hell yeah, I like being bald! I love the way it looks and feels. And for a while, even the daily shaving ritual is fun for me.
The only reason I ever grow it back is because my hair is so coarse that after a few months, it gets to be too much work to maintain. But I always know I'll return to sly again and again.

At first when I buzzed it down, I was really unsure about it - I felt very self-conscious, my confidence plummeted, etc. But I kept on keeping it buzzed until I got used to it. I let it start growing out again and realized the thinning top just didn't look as good as the tight buzz, so I went shorter. And shorter. Then, I fully shaved it. Some of the immediate reactions I got were "damn dude, this is a pretty good look on you!"
After keeping it shaved or buzzed to 1/8" or less for a few months, I got used to it. Now, I think I look better this way. I couldn't imagine ever growing my hair out again. Having a shaved head makes me look different than everyone around me (I'm 28, and many of my friends haven't even begun to thin/recede yet). I love how it makes me stand out, and every time someone mentions it, I just tell them "well, it started thinning, I said 'screw it,' and shaved it off." If anything, going all the way with the shave has made people respect me for taking my balding and owning it instead of hiding it like a wimp.
And actually, I think it's got a really versatile and stylish look. It took me some time to adjust, but now, I absolutely love it and am glad to be in the bald brotherhood.

Yeah, I would choose it if I didn't like it!
Whenever I let my hair grow more than just a few days I don't feel "clean". It is the same kind of feeling I get if I skip either my morning or evening shower.
