I read everything you wrote but I didnt respond to it, sorry. I have to disagree with you. One of our customers here at the flooring store was( is) an attorney and he is a headshaver. So I dont see where that would play a role in you getting picked for jury duty or not. What if I was someone who wanted to be on a jury. I could fight for my right and that would be discrimination.
...attorneys don't select Headshavers because they tend to be free and independent thinkers and cannot be easily led around by an attorney's argument.
Tim, You missed the whole point of my post. You do have rights. You have the right to be called for jury duty. But your rights stop there. It's the attorney's and the judge that select who will be on the jury. They will select who they think will be the best fit for their case. And if that means discrimination so be it.Rights....schmights!
It's kinda funny, ever since I told them I couldn't serve because the voices in my head said to stay home and clean the guns... they haven't asked me again!
Sometimes I wonder why I go to the trouble of writing a lengthy post.Bet you didn't even read what I said.
