Last night i sent an email to the truly important people in my life with an attached picture of my shiny new melon. the text of the email was as follows:
"Just so you don't freak out the next time you see me I thought i'd send you a picture.
I've been losing my hair for years now and the front island is really starting to bug me. So i thought i'd nip it in the bud and be away with it and see if i like it. So far i do.
Thanks in advance for the support."
i sent this email to 6 people and so far 2 of them have responded.
My best friend who said he liked it and now "if he shaves his head, we can put our heads together and make a butt" which knowing his sense of humor is hillarious. and
My sister who said it looks good and i have a good melon for it.
I sent the email to my mother who has not responded either because i'm guessing she doesn't check her email exept maybe once a month or she doesn't have anything nice to say so she's keeping it to herself. Either way, i think it was good to send out a "warning" so people don't freak out the first time they see me, at least they've been warned.

So last night my wife had dinner with my Mom. My Mom saw the email, simply asked her gently "why did he do it" and that was it. My wife said she sounded calm and was just a little curios. So I guess no response was a "no comment" which works for me. She's given me hell for years for clipping my hair. I guess she's figured out i'm gonna do what i want to do with MY head.

Everyone's mom gives them hell for buzzin' and shavin' their hair.
That's just moms being moms. But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. As long as you're satisfied, that's all that matters.

My mom jokes with me about my "hair", but I have had WAY crazier styles than no hair. I seems kinda funny to me how your mom read the email and still had to ask why you did it. lol My mom does things like THAT, too.
