I like the Banana Boat green gel, personally.   I only use it after getting a lot of sun, though.

Guys,
Is the clear Aloe juice better than the gel? (about the sticky feeling)

I cant answer taht one for ya, I have never used aloe juice.  I guess you are talking about having an aloe plant where you squeeze the leaf and get the juice.  I have not ever thought about trying that.  The sticky feeling you are experiencing with the gel, are you rubbing it all the way in?  I know sometimes my hands feel sticky after I apply it...but I generally just wash my hands afterwards or just rub my hands together and it goes away.

@Timmj

In the market, you can find 2 types of aloe vera.
. The juice (thick like water) in a bottle of 0,5kg or 1kg
. the gel (in the same size bottles)

The difference is that the gel contains parts of the leaf...
* Both are consume safe (as is or with orange/other juice)

I tried once an aftershave with aloe from Macrovita, that it sticks like hell (thats why im asking about the gel)
My wife bought to me an 99% aloe after shave gel from "lilly of the desert" that is cool...

Im interesting to use on my noggin "consume safe" gel, thats why Im asking :)

Thanks for your answer

Best regards
Dimitris.
Yea, right...

Just to update....I am still using the aloe vera gel.  I have not used the Aloe Juice yet.  Has anyone tried it?

I prefer a brand called Ocean Potion. It's a blua gell that contains Aloe Vera, Lidocaine, and Tea Tree Extract. It goes on clean and doesn't feel greasy or sticky.

I use Fruit of the Earth Aloe Gel. I use a spot of it smaller than a dime, rub it in well on my head, nape, and face. I find that the tackiness soon goes away and it leave a nice gloss finish on my head.
