That looks terrible NWTRNR.  How do people eat with teeth like that.  it has to be painful.  Looks like meth-mouth.

It is, like I said, a very horrifying show. During the show, they were talking to one of the women while she was eating something, and part of one of her remaining teeth fell out right then and there. They were talking about how they have to pop pain pills and antibiotics all the time. Wow.

That's a sad life.  What makes it worse is that it is so preventable

Just went to the dentist a week and a half ago and boy, did it turn out to be painful. I had to have a tooth pulled. I had to catch up on some work that needed to be done from back east.
Anyway, he numbs me out and gets down to business drilling and scraping away, well next thing I know he's prying and I hear things cracking as he's pulling, As it turns out the tooth was bent at the root, so he really had to work at it.
It took him a while, and I thought he would be pulling out the chisel soon and start tapping away, lol.
He finally gets the tooth out and stitches me up, and says, "boy I don't think I'll have to work out tonight". I mean, he was really working at it, I had to laugh.
As the novocaine wore off, the pain came on, and boy did it hurt. I got home and crawled right into bed with my oxycodone and just slept. Sleep the next few days was on and off, as the medicine kicked in and wore off. I would toss and turn until the motrin kicked in. At this point I stopped the oxy, as I can't stand how it makes me feel.

I have to go back on Wednesday to have the sutures removed and have the bridge put in.

Anyway, guys, the best thing to do is take care of your teeth!
I haven't even mentioned the cost, and I'm not going to. That is painful in itself.

ps, I really feel sorry for those Brits, ouch is all I can say!

On Tuesday I had a root canal for an abscessed tooth (upper left bicuspid). I go back on Monday to begin the crown work.

Thank goodness for Novocaine and nitrous!

I'm glad you started this topic.  My wife had an accident almost three weeks ago and it was not pretty.

First off, she scared the living sh*t out of me.  She fainted in the shower and fell back and busted her four front teeth.  Seeing her past-out in the tube was like a nightmare (I still cannot get it out of my head)... horrible experience.

Anyhoot, we are now looking at thousands of dollars for repairs.  She has seen a couple dentists and a few oral surgeons.  Turns out she actually fractured her upper jaw when one of the front teeth broke/fractured her upper jaw.  Ouuuch!!!

Sorry to let this out on everyone.... it has been a crazy month after this experience.  SBG has been good.... I have been able to "let-it-all-out", these past several days.  Thanks everyone.... this forum has really let me spill-it-all-out!!  Thank you... I needed it.

sh*t, now I think I'm addicted!!!... that's a good thing though... Tyler you f@#*kin' rock for getting this started!!!
