I got a quick in shower shave with my shampoo ( I can apply extra to wash my dome) if needed when out the shower a touch up with some shave gel if I want some proper shave lubricant.

I tended to use my local supermarkets gel from a can till recently. Although I wasnt overly impressed with headblade I do like head slick and will continue to use it despite going back to hydro

Bigelow is re-packaged Proraso, in the event that you can't find CO Bigelow.

Proraso from tub or tube is great stuff. They also have a nice menthol which has a nice cooling effect in the warmer months.

Have always used shave oils. Currently using "Cromwell & Cruthers." Works great, close shave.

I've been using AVEENO® POSITIVELY SMOOTH® Shave Gel since forever on my face.  I've started using it on my head now that I'm shaving it and it works great! It gives a nice smooth shave.  Afterwards I apply AVEENO® Men's™ After Shave Lotion all over the head for that nice cooling sensation.  My head feels nice and smooth!

I also use Aveeno on the dome!  Love the smoothness and the way it smells...

I'm a recent convert to Taylor of Oldbond street. I'm cursed with sensitive skin and this seems to work best for me.

I've been using C.O. Bigelow cream for a while now. It's good stuff. I apply it with a brush.

I'm new, and still trying to find my 'groove', but I've been using headslick since I started shaving a few weeks ago.  First run was actually with Gillette Edge gel...because I had a lot and didnt want to use my 'good stuff' for the face (Taylor of Old Bond Street cream).

Headslick is good stuff....  compliments the headblade for sure, but is great even if you stay with a standard razor like Mach 3 or fusion.
