I had the "jump school" haircut for many years.  MPB reared its ugly head.  had a serious case of "home plate" on top of my dome, combined with a widow's peak that Jack Nicholson would've envied. lol!  5 weeks ago found SBG, started reading some really great information.  Next morning woke up, stoked my courage, and jumped over to the Sly side of life! 8)  LIFE IS GOOOOOOOD!!!! O0 O0 O0

Once you go sly you'll never ask why!

Make the best of what ya have. Shave it, cop an attitude, and enjoy your life.

Going sly early isn't what it used to be. Even a decade ago if a young kid was shaved/bald he was automatically a skinhead/gang member or some kind of indie/punk wannabe. Now people of all ages go sly and it doesn't have the same stigma. People (especially dudes) will give you sh*t for it but deep down they're scared because they know one day they'll have to face it. As I told my friends when they ribbed me about losing my hair so young (I'm 19, started balding probably 2 years ago), I'd rather deal with hair loss at 19 when everything else is going great in my life than stack it on top of a heap of problems when I'm 40 or 50 (not to say that life is shitty at that age but I'm enjoying having basically no responsibilities!).

I know a lot of guys are worried about what girls will think but the most successful pickup artist of our generation is Neil Strauss and he is proudly sly.

Sometimes your pride can get in the way but in the long run like everyone here has said it will grow back.  I myself have never had to go through MPB I'm just the opposite I have hair growing like weeds on steroids  :px and I hate it :Xo!.  I find it Ironic alot of people with hair hate it >:( and others without it would kill for it :x!.

Just that you sound wise beyond your years.

Can I get that in writing? I have a few profs/friends/bosses/ex-things that I need to get in touch with.

just shave it....it's not permanent. if u hate the feel/look just let it grow back out. i was doing the 0 guard on my clippers for a long time and just didnt like that weird velcro look/feel thing.
