this may be directed at those considering shaving their head.  Or it may be showing respect to those on the forum.

One thing that I have found interesting on this site is the members reactions to those who are debating scraping the scalp.  After reading quite a few of them I have come to some conclusions.

Most everybody will tell you to shave your head.  This is just some advice from men that have, in many cases, experience MPB

The members of this forum are great people, they want to help those who are losing their hair by conquering the beast.  Why fight a never ending battle when you can end it in one quick step, and win.

If you really need support, everybody here is willing to give you advice and help you through your tough times.


So my advice to all those debating scraping the scalp, ask questions, seek advice, use the advice and choose the right choice for you.  YOU ARE NOT BALD.  YOU ARE YOU.  If you choose to shave the noggin, great.  If not, you will be looked at the same by all the Sly Bald Guys, with respect.



To all my sly brethren.  Keep up the good work, to many, your words may be more than those posted on a forum, they may help.

Great post SKIKING!.... For you guys on the fence "Slay the Dragon"..... "Purge the Demon"..... whatever you want to call it......just get on with it and move on with your life.

I just wached a show last night about people that somehow survived horrible near death circumstances. Many of them NOW realized that a lot of the things that we worry about as humans just don't really matter. The fact that you're bald or balding should not control your life in any way whether you choose to shave your head or not.

Great Post! I think the biggest relief for me really was that an inanimate object was no longer controlling my life! Koz hit it right on the head. (No pun intended!)
