Happiness in a relationship is a two way street. If it makes you happy to be bald, then she should take that into consideration before she gets mad. Oh and.....go with the forgiveness thing.

Chad - you look better sly...but did you slip and shave off the Q-tips too? I thought those were a good touch!

And BTW....my DAD ALWAYS told me it was better (and easier) to ask for forgiveness rather than permission...
