So, I thought I would follow my own advice and count how many bulbs we had in our house so that I could change them out with CF bulbs.  As I was doing it my wife asked "what the heck I was doing?" so I told her.  She then said, "you're too late, I already buy those bulbs."  So, apparently my wife was way ahead of me on this one... :-\
