This is Buddy. He's a little over a year old and we got him about a week ago. It's the first pet we've had since being married. It's almost like having a new baby in the house.

Very cute, Rick. How much does he weigh? Is his tail docked? He looks like he might be part Wheaten.

He's only about 15 lbs. We got him from a friend of a lady I work with. There was a family that got him as a puppy for their mentally-challenged son and the child did not take up with the dog. So they had to get rid of him. He hasn't had alot of attention all of his short life. I think he is really enjoying my 2 boys. He's had "several accidents". He was supposedly house broken before we got him.

Cute dog; it almost looks like his paws and head were spray painted gold because it's such a distinct coloring pattern. By the way, if your kids say they will pick up his backyard deposits, don't believe them... kids lie.

It's not unsusual for dogs to have accidents in a new environment, even if they were already housetrained. I'm sure he'll catch on quickly.

To cute. I am very happy for your family. Personally, I don't want anything else in my else that eats or poops. Four of us in enough!

Great looking little dog Rick! As Razor said, it's not at all unusual for a house trained dog to have 'accidents" in a new environment.... especially for males. He may just be staking out his new territory. Anyway, be patient, it probably will end quickly.
Good Luck!!!!!

nice picture!
he looks like an active and bright little buddy.
i guess your sons will have a lot of fun with him.
give him some attention an u will see how adaptive a dog is.
newest funny thing he does when we say dry your feet,
he runs to his sleeping place and starts to scratch around.
that's timmy !!

Just in case you all didnt know....Ben has a dog named Timmy
