Just hope you don't get the clown for the prostate exam I had, "Bend over" says he, and I do, and his lubbed finger starts to work, as I read the sign taped to the pad in front of my eyes, "Just think, five minutes ago, we'd never met!"  Wise A** Dr.  but no problemo, now they just put a PSA test on my blood work every year.

GASlick:
There is actually a non-invasive study they are using now.  It's called the "Virtual Colonoscopy".  it is basically a CT scan of your abdomen.  It uses a specific set of software to reconstruct the colon virtually.  If something is suspicious, then a real colonoscopy is in order.

Thing is, the scan is very expensive and some insurance carriers are not covering it since it is a new technology.  like all things technical though, it will be affordable in the near future.

Now you're talking!  And there's plenty of time for it to become standard operating proceduer before I'll need to have it done.   (**!
