• Well, I took the plunge on Christmas night. Like many I had progressively gone from a #2 clipper, to a #1 for the last few weeks, to no guard for the last few days.  I have had some good complements regarding head shape and the look of the short cut, so tonight I decided to finish the job.  A few glasses of wine helped with the reservations. But I am very happy.  It feels good and I look forward to seeing the results tomorrow.  My wife says tonight she likes a little hair better, but she is willing to give it a chance.
  
  Thanks to everyone in the forum, I have been reading for a few weeks waiting for the right time.  I had intended to wait until after the holidays, but am glad I did it now.  Going to keep it protected for a few days, living in SC I should get some sun over the next week or so.  Hoping to get things a little more even soon.

• Thanks for all the complements, and encouragement.  My wife even said this morning that she thinks it looks really good.  I will try to get a better pic. took that last night on my iSight on my MacBook, lighting not very good.  I am going to the Virgin Islands for 5 days next week, so I am trying to get a little sun this week, and a lot of sunscreen next.
