hello fellow baldies...I've got a question for all of you...Do you have a download limit/quota with your Internet Service Provider?..ie the amount of data that you can download from the internet over the course of a month or billing period.

Here I have ADSL with 10GB of download quota with a speed of 1500/256kbps. After I excede my 10GB, I am slowed to dial-up speeds which is around 56kbps. Very aggravating. I've used it all up this month, luckily my plan renews in a few days and I've increased my quota to 25GB.Mininova here I come!!! I pay 75 bucks a month for my internet service.

Some providers offer "unlimited downloads" but if you read the fine print there is usually a limit of 25gb or more.

The company I am with are the best provider I've ever had, never had 1 outage with them and only time I've ever had to contact their customer service was to change my plan I am on.

High Speed Internet in Australia is stone age compared to most of North America and Asia

Far as I know, it's unlimited at home through Qwest DSL. We have the same thing at work with multiple computers hooked up and wireless available for waiting clients if they wish to use it.

Unlimited....Comcast High Speed.

Same here!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Here in the UK I'm with Virgin Media. I get around 54mbs connection speed with unlimited browsing and downloads all for £25.

I have Comcast too.  Although they advertise unlimited use, I've read that there is a cap and that they'll cut you off if you go over.  The problem is that they won't say what the limit is.  Luckily I've never done enough downloading to get a warning or anything.

i have noticed that they're throttling bit torrent traffic a lot lately.  They're in court for their traffic shaping practices right now I think.
