It was OK, but a barber with a straight edge would have been more interesting.

As far as the prices go, it's amazing how the taxes in G.B. mess with the average consumer's pocket.
Several years ago, I was over there on a business trip. The U.S. airline that I flew on lost my luggage somewhere in the Chicago area, which required me to buy a few extra clothes to make it through the first few days of work (in January).

Needless to say, I was amazed at how much more things cost.

Also, I think Scotch is actually cheaper here in the U.S. than in Great Britain.

Go figure!
