I have had a receding hairline for my entire life. I also have baby fine hair. During high school it was a major issue as even a slight breeze would mess up my doo. Once I reached the age of about 26, I started crew cutting because I couldn't stand the constant hair combings that I needed to do to look neat and presentable. It was just shy of a year ago that I decided to shave my hair completely off. No more hair issues for me. Hell, it is only hair. Yeah I caught some ridicule for it. But those same people that ridiculed me, accept it, as I do not hear any comments from them. My wife, she doesn't really like my head shaved, as she sometimes asks me to grow my hair back. But I will not do it. I do not ask her to style her hair any certain way, and I expect the same from her.
Anyway a little pick me up that happened a few months ago. I was entering a convenience store one day, and I held the door open for a lady who was also entering the store. She commented on my shaved head, stating that she loved it. I told her thank you, and that not many folks appreciate it like she does. What she said next has stuck with me and probably will forever. She simply stated that I would be surprised how many women really do like the bald look. Women do not always project how they actually feel. Thus making them very difficult to read. I will take a womans word on how women feel on a subject as truth. So don't worry about how women will feel about a bald head. Most of them really like it.
As stated before in previous posts, you really just need to accept that your AA is part of your life, and live with it. Only then will your confidence improve. And that is what women really find sexy.
