What's up all my bald-a-maniacs! 1st off, have to say I love this site!!  You guys rock! Just wanted to share with you, I just got my order from Bald Guyz (shave gel, shampoo and wash...etc.)  I can't wait to use it, but was curious if anyone has any feedback?  Is this stuff as good as they hype it up to be?  I see a few reviews......what's the 411?

Every time I've used the Bald Guyz products, I've loved them.  The only thing I use on a consistent basis is the Moisture Gel.  That is just because I hate having to order stuff over the internet and wait for it to arrive.  The Moisture Gel is available at Wal-Mart and WalGreen.  I've tried the shave gel and it is really great too.

I actually use all of it in my routine as of late.  I still have all my HeadBlade stuff in storage just in case because I like to switch up now and then.  But this Bald Guyz routine has been doing my dome so much justice I'll probably stick with it.  I shower shave.  So I start out by washing the dome and face with the wash/shampoo.  Then I put about a quarter sized amount of the shave gel in my hand and work that into the face and dome real good.  Let it sit for about a minute or so.  Go to work on the shaving.  When I'm done I run my dome under some cold water for a few minutes.  Get out and pat the dome dry.  Don't rub.  Then I apply the moisture gel.  BANG!!!  Good to go.  Then about once to twice a week I use the deep cleaner/conditioner to clear out the pores on the dome.  How many times I use it a week just depends on how dirty or oily my head feels.  But I'm telling you all the Bald Guyz stuff rocks.  Yeah, it may be a little on the watery/runny side but it's for a reason.  I can honestly say that I believe the condition of my dome has improved since using these products on a regular basis.  The only problem I ever have with any of their products is that the sunscreen will "bead up" some times when I apply it to the dome.  I wrote them and asked why.  They explained it's because the dome has to be perfectly clean.  They said that if your head isn't clean then the alcohol in the sunscreen will react with the oils on your head and cause "flaking."  It will basically look like you have small amounts of lint on your dome.  But since that is the only issue I give Bald Guyz a real big thumbs up overall.   O0

I'd say the shaving gel is one of the best things you can use to shave your head.

I'm right with you on this, Tyler. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the shave gel in the aisle at Safeway. They are the only store I know of that stocks it.
Anyway, I have to say this is stuff is actually a bit better than Headslick!, yes I said it.
I have used it for my last two shaves, and I really think it works well. It lathers up similarly to headslick. It's a little less foamy, and has a real slick feel.
Excellent product, and I am a big fan of the Bald Guyz line too. I use the moisture gel and the sunscreen. I now have to try the shampoo/wash.
All in all, they make a great product and I will be sticking with them as part of my shave rotation.    O0

I got some moisture gel by BaldGuyz w/ the SPF 30, and the second time I used it the "gel" had turned into total liquid!  It stings too.  The regular, non-SPF, has stayed as a gel and it's good, but stinging liquid slop ain't fun.

The sting from that is just the small amount of alcohol that is in the sunscreen.  It's probably helping by closing pores and cleaning out any nicks on the dome.  The reason it's so running is because it's made up of, mostly, natural ingredients and not a bunch of "paste" like chemicals.  I usually give the sunscreen a good shake and it thickens back up a  bit.
