Check out this gas-saving device
« on: May 09, 2008, 10:11:49 AM »
Like most of you, I'm usually pretty skeptical about gas-saving devices.  But this one has caught my attention.  It was featured on one of our local news stations last night.  The device cost about $1,200, but the test results are pretty impressive. It's called the Hydro-4000 and it uses hydrogen to mix with your gasoline to make you engine burn fuel better.  The news station did their own test and saw a 60% increase in mileage.

Below is a link to our local news report on this device.  It's worth checking out.

We've had that here in canada, for the trucing industry for several years now. The company that pioneered it is called HFI, our company installed them on all of our trucks, and most of our trucks went from 6 MPG to 10-11.5 MPG. They cost about 10,000.00 canadian (installed) They too use distilled water which is converted into hydrogen and then is injected in the intake of the engine, giving the fuel a more complete burn, resulting in a cleaner burning engine, and more horse power and quicker throtle response, as well as reduced emissions.

here is a link to their site http://www.chechfi.ca/

You can buy the distilled water just about anywhere. The ones on our trucks have a might on your dash that tells you when it needs to be refilled, but on on 4L jug of water we can go frome here (Toronto) to LA California and back. On one trip alone our company tested two identical trucks on a run like that one with the HFI unit and one without. The one without cost $3,700.00 in fuel, the one with the HFI spent $3,100.00 in fuel.

I know where you can buy the water...but is there an additional tank or container you put the water in???

Sorry Timmy, you just simply pour it into the machien itself. There is a filler cap on the top of the units we have, but before you fill it there is a buttun that you push and hold till a buzzer goes off, this puts the unit in fill mode (which is displayed on the screen in the unit) when the buzzer stops, you start filling it, untill the buzzer goes off again, telling you that it is now full.
